Plus One- Part 2

It has been a few months now since Duncan suggested we pretend to be each other's girlfriends at the family weddings we will be going to. While I still haven't officially met Candace yet, I hear she has been able to get a college ID, has been attending evening lectures, and has been going to a lot of parties and events. Though I have not seen it, Duncan tells me her Facebook has been filling up with friends and pictures. In order to keep our identities separate, the owner of the makeover studio, Janis, and her husband, Jordan, seemed to enjoy our plan and decided to help us out by giving us cell phones and lap tops. They also rented Candace an apartment, since she couldn't live in Duncan's building, and Jordan got Rowena a job working on his magazine. While it was only meant to be a job for show, I found I enjoyed writing articles and seeing Rowena Sinclair's work published on the website. Since both girls were from out of state, their lack of driver's licenses was easily explained.
While there were some challenges at first, we both soon figured out how to manage both our real lives and our fake ones. Duncan only worked from morning until evening, so he was able to become Candace at night and on weekends. I, on the other hand, scheduled my classes only a few days a week so that I could work at the magazine on my free days and keep my job at the gym for evenings. Also, becoming Rowena soon became second nature to me. The moment I become her I automatically alter my voice, movements, behavior, and personality. Unlike me, Rowena is much more structured and expensive. Everything in her apartment is neatly arranged from her bed and kitchen to her closet full of designer shoes and clothes. Unlike Candace who is more of a wild child and party girl, Rowena prefers a quiet evening with a few close girlfriends from the office, relaxing in the tub with a good book, or snuggling on the couch with her kitten. Oh yes, Rowena owns a kitten named Duchess. It took some time, but I eventually got pretty good at walking in heels, doing my makeup, and shaving my body hair.
With our female identities firmly established both in life and online, we decide it is time to arrange our meetings. As Candace, Duncan will convince a few of his friends to join the gym I work at. The gym is right off campus and popular with the students, so it would only seem natural for Candace and her friends to go there for yoga and aerobics. I will sign each of them up for a membership and after about a week or so I would ask Candace out. As for the other meeting, as Rowena I will invite a few friends over for a party and after a few drinks we will start to get a little loud. Owen will come over and tell us to keep the noise down and after that he will ask her out. Although Rowena and her friends are pretty serious most of the time, when they loosen up they can get a little wild.
The day we arranged for me to meet Candace has finally arrived. As I wait at my desk for her and her friends to show up I begin to wonder what she will look like. Having never seen Duncan as Candace I am not sure what to expect or even what color hair she will have since we both have short hair in our regular lives. As the hours go by, I keep checking out every girl that enters the gym wondering if one of them are her. A few girls sign up for memberships, but none of them are her. Just as I'm about to go on break, in walks a group of hot girls laughing and carrying on a conversation. Some are wearing yoga pants and the rest have on short workout shorts, but they are all wearing tops that show off their perfectly toned abs and slim waists.
"Hi," one of the girls says as they approach my desk, "We want to sign up for memberships. Is this where we sign up?"
"Yes," I reply wondering if one of these girls is Candace, "I can get you all signed up."
The girls take turns sitting at my desk and filling out their applications while the rest wait at the smoothie bar for their turn. The first girl is pretty cute, but her name is Katie. I glance at the rest of the girls and notice they range from being cute to really hot. One of the girls seems a little shier than the others and I wonder if that is Candace. Duncan is a pretty quiet guy when it comes to group situations. The shy girl is talking to the hottest girl in the group who seems to be the leader of the pack. A couple more girls come over and none of them are Candace. Next comes the shy girl and I turn up the charm a little.
"Good evening miss," I say assertively, "Let's begin your application. What is your name?"
"It's Rebecca Mitchell," she says, "but my friends call me Becky."
I'm a little surprised that this girl isn't Candace, but I continue on in the same manner. There are only three girls left who haven't signed up, including the hot girl. I glance up and notice the hot girl flirting with some body builder guys. After I finish up with Becky, the hot girl comes over to sign up. She sits down, but doesn't seem too interested in me as she continues smiling and watching the body builders.
"Can we make this fast," she says a little annoyed, "I think those guys are about to leave."
"Sure," I say wondering which of the two girls at the smoothie bar is Candace, "The form isn't that long. What is your name?"
"Candace Delgado," she says as she checks a text message.
I pause for a moment in shock, but quickly recover and continue. Like me, Duncan is using a different last name than his real one, but that isn't the most shocking part. Candace is probably the hottest girl I've ever met. Her legs are long and completely smooth, her waist is thin, her ass is round and firm, and her gorgeous face is perfectly framed by her long light brown hair. She is wearing a pair of short shorts and a top that reveals a pierced naval and a lower back tattoo. As we continue filling out her membership, she expertly ties her hair back in a ponytail. She doesn't say much to me and I realize she is making our meeting realistic. A woman like Candace would never be desperate to go on a date with a guy like me. I know I'm going to have to put some work into getting her to go out with me.
We finish her application and the other two girls come over one by one. Once we are finished, I take the group on a tour of the gym. As we walk around, I notice Candace flirting with the body builder guys, but Becky seems to be into me. Maybe I can try to ask out Becky. If things work out between me and her, then I wouldn't have to worry about creating a fake relationship. At the end of the tour, I talk to Becky for a little while and am disappointed to find out she is engaged. I guess I will have to work on Candace after all. The girls stay at the gym for a little while before leaving. At the end of my shift I head to Rowena's apartment and begin preparing for her meeting with Owen. Like Candace, Rowena is also a knockout and I'll have to remember to play it that way when she meets Owen for the first time. Since her apartment is secluded from any neighbors, I am able to enter as myself without anyone seeing me.
I enter the apartment and quickly change into Rowena. As always, I put my male stuff in a secret compartment to keep it from being discovered when I have friends over. I enter the bathroom and when I emerge it is as a sexy blonde in a short baby doll nightie. Automatically switching over to Rowena, I begin to apply my lotion to my legs to keep them smooth and put on my kimono. I go to the kitchen to grab a snack and to feed Duchess, then sit on the couch and watch an episode of Real Housewives with Duchess sleeping in my lap. I know I don't have to act like Rowena when I'm alone, but it helps me stay in character, especially since I have friends coming over early in the morning to help me set up for the get together. I'd hate for them to come over while I'm still Owen. Also, the Real Housewives help me get into Rowena's character.
In the morning, my friends will be coming over with the food platters and drinks. Since it is a Saturday we will not be working in the office. Instead we will be covering a fashion runway show. Although it began as a men's magazine like Esquire, after moving online they began a second site with articles for women. The runway show will be featuring both men's and women's fashion, so we will be covering both. The girls and I will change into our dresses at my apartment then be taken to the show in Jordan's limo. After the show we will head back to my place for a sort of after party with drinks, snacks, and some music. As part of my cover, it has been established that Rowena comes from a pretty wealthy family, like Duncan's, which explains why she lives in such a nice apartment and has so many expensive things.
